They say that we can never truly go home again, a truth he is learning now.

Author Reply: Very true! Thanks for reading!

Oooh, you're back and with a new one! I always love your stories even though I lurk most of the time. This new one looks great! Poor Legolas, it can't have been easy watching people sail while he remained in Middle Earth for Aragorn and Arwen. However it just proves what my mother always told me, you can never go back, not even to the places you had the happiest times, they are never the same. Onwards and upwards always!

Author Reply: Actually, this is an old one! ;) I posted it very early in my fanfic days, but it was my weakest story, with a horribly confusing timeline. I've completely rewritten it and I think it's decent now. :) Thanks For reading and reviewing! Love to hear from my readers. :)

Hi Nieriel RAINA. I REALLY LIKE YOUR FIRST CHAPTER. Can't wait for your next chapter. Can't believe that I have missed your other stories. I'm off to check them out. A glass or two of white, from our Swan River region, from Western Australia will make it even better. I am suppose to writing a training report. This is much better way to spend a Sunday night. Love Galathil

Author Reply: Hi! So glad you liked the prologue! I posted the next chapter. I've been revamping my stories over the past couple years so I've not had anything posted here, but I'm starting to add them back. So glad you enjoy them! :)

Thank you for reading!

I get the feel that legolas feels as I read . It is when you realize that an era of joy and importance is over in your life and you know that you must move on for good and bad. That aching bittersweet feeling when you have to let go.Like when you loose someone dear or seeing a place you hold dear getting abandoned like Legolas. Or like myself when I recently passed through the beautyful little village where I spent many summerholidays as a child and teen.It was there that my most beloved cousins used to live and now I reluctantly realize that not many people live there anymore. They have closed down the big sawmill, the stores and the beach where we played is overgrown with weeds...sigh. At least the neighbouring village has some renaissance with a popular Icecream café that every biker and driver visits on their way.:) Well I will stop boring you and many compliments to a great chapter which caught my attention and I will follow this story indeed!

Author Reply: Thank you! I'm so glad you can feel the emotion of this moment! That's a great compliment. :)
