Way to go Legolas!!! There is much evil in all of creation and no one group of beings is exempt from it. Senseless greed destroyed several lives, but thankfully the elves survived.

I'm finally caught up with your latest story.
I love how you write. Especially the friendship and love between Legolas and Gimli. You are able to show an immense depth of feeling, without ever getting maudlin.
I adore your stories.

Author Reply: Thank you! What a kind thing to say. :) I'm so glad you enjoy my writing, especially Legolas and Gimli. Those two are something special, aren't they? ;)

Thanks so much for reading and your lovely review! :)

"A Whirlwind of vehement fierceness." Indeed! Your descriptions of fighting are intensely real. I liked how you got in to Legolass's head and showed us how his centuries of training keep him going. I am glad that Brigus finally saw the light in the end. In a way, his end reminds me a bit of Boromir's. By that point there was nothing he could do to go back and change the evil he had caused. So he did what he could to protect Prem and stop Jasper. You lead us to believe that Prem is now dead from the beating Jasper dealt him. But you do not come right out and say it. I have hope that when our friend the Healer King arrives that he may be able to help him! I love Gimli's relationships with both his pony and Legolass's very intelligent horse. I could hear the movie interchange from "Two Towers", where Gimli asks Aragorn to "don't tell the elf" and Aragorn replies "not a word"!

Author Reply: I also love the relationship between the Three Hunters. I'm glad you enjoyed the descriptions of the fighting! It's never easy to get into a warrior's head in the midst of battle!

Thanks so much for reading and commenting!

Too bad Prem and Torel had to suffer as did the true brigands. At least Brigus felt remorse at what he'd done to Legolas and Caeri and perhaps to what he'd brought his brother and Prem. And Aragorn and Gimli apparently are almost there.

Author Reply: Yes, it is sad how selfishness can affect not just ourselves, but others.
