Ah, such a good beginning to his sojourn amongst this people! To prove a good healer of horses is most fortunate. And he wisely chooses to learn the language from one now eager to teach him! What a wonderful tale. I love all the details, such as the stables being more elaborately decorated than the men's barracks, and the clever way Aragorn found to learn more of the Rohirric language. there were neither scrolls nor books to read, apart from the carefully guarded volumes in the royal library That would be a sore trial to me, as well!
