| Too bad there couldn't be a happy ending but in some ways this story is better because you didn't give us one. | At least Glorfindel is finally healing indeed, and will not linger. The thought that the healed Elvea will be awaiting them with Celebrian is heartening. I'll admit I'd not thought of it. And we all miss Fiondil! Author Reply: the thought came to me with the last chapter and thrilled me. The only way to get Glorfindel back and lure him to the blessed lands.
