|We had something like this, one Christmas. I stood in the wee hobbits' room, and remarked on the fact that there was really no space for additional toys. Would they like to give some of their nicer things to the shelter for homeless mothers and children?|
They quickly began to gather bags of stuffed animals (I had told them to gather only those that looked new and fresh), and to my surprise, some favourites were among those to be given away. Are you sure? I said. Are you absolutely certain? For I wondered what would happen, when bedtime came, and a favourite snuggler was no longer there.

|Oh, what a wonderful story! I love it from beginning to end.|
"Her little boy can have some of my old clothes and toys," Eldarion offered.
How that must warm his parents' hearts. I suspect that Eldarion will be as beloved a king as his father.
