Hilarious! I love the daughter mourning for Glorfindel only to get a (to her) heartless reply. Arwen's bafflement is great, especially in the face of Eowyn being so practical and confused herself. I can just see Legolas' face when he gets Aragorn's letter... Author Reply: Thanks for reading! Yes, Eowyn and Arwen are talking straight past each other, each baffled by how the other seems to be completely missing the point. I found it especially interesting to think about Eowyn's perspective as someone who (it seems) grew up in an overwhelmingly male household environment - now she finally has another female to commiserate with, and it's no help at all! I'm inclined to think that Legolas will be scrambling for an excuse to re-delegate this particular task...

Oh dear...To be honest, I had wondered about this very thing in regards to my own LOTR Fan Fiction & still haven't made up my mind on how to approach it yet. This though...This was brillantly handled and I love how you kept it building and building until our poor hapless Heroes entered via Stage Right....LOL!!! :oD Poor Faramir...I'm more than certain the ceiling became intensely interesting just then and then poor Aragorn realizing what was going on....Our poor favourite Steward and King..ROTFLOL!!! This is was just so perfectly written and plotted. This one's going on to my Favourites listing for future re reading and enjoyment. Thank you so much for this!!! Author Reply: Thanks so much for you feedback! I'm really glad you enjoyed the story. At some point it just occurred to me that it must be really awkward going through adolescence when your same-gender parent can't relate to you because they're not the same kind of person (I'm tempted to say "species," but that doesn't sound right). Things kind of spiraled from there... :) Thanks again!

This was a riot. :-P I chuckled most of the way through. Poor... well, poor everyone. And Aragorn....'ohhh, I forgot about that.' Right...if only. ;-) Good story, thanks for writing! I will admit to curiosity over why you changed the title.... Author Reply: Thanks for reading and your note - I'm so glad you enjoyed it! :) I changed the title because it was longer than this site allowed (at least I think that's what happened, as I kept getting error notices).

Oh dear! I can just imagine Éowyn's confusion at Arwen's laock of understanding. Perhaps Aragorn should have asked Éowyn to explain it to the Elven healers :) Author Reply: Lol, I'm sure she'd just love that! I do have a feeling that the young princesses are going to have a long chat with "Auntie Éowyn" before too long. ;)

LOL. Aragorn is a man after my own heart, delegate, delegate, delegate although I doubt if Legolas will appreciate being thrown into this situation. Charming story quodamat, thanks for the giggles. Author Reply: Thanks so much for your review! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I was definitely going for the giggles with this one.

The names you've chosen are lovely. Indeed, the Elves must be educated about this 'fatal ailment' with all haste! A delightful story. Author Reply: Thanks so much for your review! It means a lot. I'm glad you enjoyed!

Aha! Poor Arwen, not realizing how it is with mortal women (or girls). But all will survive this minor crisis, I suspect. Heh! At least my mother made certain that we were well advised as to what was coming, although for me it didn't start until I was a month short of fourteen, while with my daughter it began when she was barely eleven. Author Reply: I once read a small book with various people's stories about their experiences in this type of situation. Let's just say there was a range of possibilities presented! Thanks for reading and responding. :)
