| I am most likely more to blame for what happened to the populace of the Shire than you are. It is typical for Frodo to blame himself firstly! But at the time he left the Shire and gave Bag End to Lotho he simply had no other choice. He knows that, too. He just can't accept it. Thank you for your Mathom. | Oh, this is so lovely. That's our Frodo. Not only helping to put Master Grubb's mind at rest over his role in the Troubles, but also healing resentment between them Frodo didn't even know about, and then giving him hope things will turn around once the full story comes out. Love how Frodo sends him off for a meal at the Inn on him. If there's anything to prove there's no hard feelings between Hobbits, that'll do it. :oD Hope you have/had. Wonderful Birthday!! Is your new furry Family Member home yet? Author Reply: You are right that being offered such a meal undoubtedly did much to restore Eustus's respect for Frodo. Heh! I had a delightful birthday, and my new companion is indeed with me, and has been for just over a month now. Her name is Melian, and she is a cream sable and sports the happiest smile you can imagine. She's over chewing on most things, but she does on occasion earn a spat to her fuzzy little tail by gnawing on such things as envelopes and the spines of books. She is almost eight months old now, and is about full grown. She stands a bit taller than Brendi, and her coat won't be full for another few months. They weigh just about the same at about five and a half pounds. Brendi will go out and call for his sister still, however. After all, he and Pandora were devoted companions for over four years. But he is much calmer and happier now that he has another Pomeranian to keep him company. | |
