Now she has seen him from several sides, as an interloper, as a learned herbalist in his own right, and as a healer; now she sees him also as one who reads the hearts of others and gives them what is due. Compassion is such a great gift.

Author Reply: Thank you. Compassion is indeed a great gift.

Yes, had a feeling before the reveal that it was Aragorn all along that Morwen met at the herb garden.

Good story nonetheless.

A very happy new year 2017 to you Linda.

More new stories on Elves of Rivendell please.... besides the usual characters from the books.

Hope 2017 brings you good things.
I'm afraid I'm not very good at writing Elves.

Oh, poor woman! What a terrible, stress-filled time of it, waiting for the King's ax to fall (so to speak). It's wonderful to read new tales of the Healer-king, and how he's perceived by those first meeting him. Lovely story.

Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review. I really felt for poor Morwen.I'm pleased you enjoyed my story.

I love the way you bring characters from skeptical and doubtful to a place that maybe sometimes creeps into worshipful.you give us permission to doubt the miraculous but you show us that there are indeed more things under the sun then we may know.

Love when people reward you with small victories, good luck as the year grows older.
