The Prince's Portrait  by Linda Hoyland 6 Review(s)

Very cute, and I'm guessing very realistic! It's hard enough getting little boys to hold still for a photo...I can't imagine doing it for a painting! :)

I like that they allowed a boy to a boy and not yet a warrior, indeed a picture to be treasured, as the warrior one would be in time.

Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Author Reply: Thank you so much. I agree with you.

May God bless you too.

A sweet look at Eldarion's childhood. Nice to see that he loves his dog.

Author Reply: Thank you so much. I believe Eldarion would be brought up to love animals.

Such a delightful ending! True, there's a lot of time (especially as long-lived as Eldarion is likely to be) for more portraits.

If any at Rivendell sail, I shall ask them to take a copy to my mother and father.

Can you imagine the joy the receipt of such a portrait would bring? I love your idea here.

Author Reply: Thank you so much.I'm delighted you enjoyed the ending. I hope a copy of the picture does indeed reach the West.
