| Aww, poor Celeborn and Celebrimbor! Things are hard on both of them. At least Celeborn has a wife now, to help and sustain him, as he can help and sustain her. And now they have a daughter they love very much! Little do they know that their daughter is going to grow up to give birth to Arwen, who in turn will end up marrying a member of the line of Elendil and becoming the Queen of Gondor and Arnor. I hope you can return to Stories of Arda one day soon! Author Reply: Oh yes, poor Cels (as I call them, lol). Thank you very much for this review! Celeborn and Galadriel are very glad to have a daughter to love. Celeborn, of course, has no idea what part his daughter will play in the reunion of Elros and Elrond's lines one day, though Galadriel may know more (eventually, if not now.) I intend to. | Is Lady Niniel Celeborn's mother? Just curious. Of course, even a lord needs his mother! =) Author Reply: Sorry Kathy! I didn't get a notification for this review. No, Celeborn's mother is named Lady Baraves in my-verse. Lady Niniel was the childhood nurse of Aicanaro and Artanis (Aegnor and Galadriel, who are twins in mine and Emma's stories), and followed them across the Ice into exile, becoming Galadriel's lady-in-waiting and Celebrian's nurse. She had promised their mother Earwen that she would never leave them, but she disparages Celeborn for being "Moriquendo", a Sinda, for all he's Earwen's cousin. | |

| The last observations are very likely. I hope the letters do eventually reach their mothers--or at least the news they contain however it is done. Author Reply: Oh thank you, Larner! If you want to see more of Celeborn's naneth, Lady Baraves, she shows up in a couple of the "Children of Doriath" stories. (Though you may have read those when I originally wrote them back in 2011. It's been so long though, lol!) Celebrimbor's naneth has yet to appear in anything I've written, I believe. I haven't considered her much yet, except for this mention. | |
