This was heart-breaking: Elladan’s heart clenched as Estel showed him the bloodstained star-brooch. Ai, Arador! How difficult it must have been for Elrond and his sons to watch the devastation that time and mortality wrought on the descendants of Elros... Also the mention of Fiondil. How I looked forward to those regular updates! I miss his sweeping scope of imagination, his clear delineation between good and evil, his hopeful vision. I know you miss him even more than someone like me who merely read his stories and left awe-filled feedback. (((hugs))) Author Reply: (((hugs Lindelea))) Thank you so much for your review! Yes, I think it must have been really difficult for Elrond and his family to see that. (((hugs them, too))) I miss my atto indonyo desperately and can only hope he is watching over me. These nods to his stories definitely help me feel closer to him.

A worthy series for Aragorn/Thorongil as we see him through early manhood into his place as Lord of the Northern Dunedain. Too bad his mother did not live to rejoice in his victories at the last! Author Reply: Thank you so very much Larner! It really is too bad, but no doubt when they entered the Presence together she told him how proud she was of him.

Oh, but I love this series as we watch the mortal descendants of Earendil embrace their heritage and roles in life, and as Eldacar realizes his cousin is not as was Meneldil. Author Reply: O thank you so, Larner! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I hope to revisit Eldacar of Arnor and Earendil of Gondor eventually. The Muse intrigued my with this glimpse of them!
