Thanks! I think the prompt for this drabble was heat or heatwave and this came to mind. Drabbles let me explore areas that I don't usually think of when writing in Tolkien's world.

Thanks! It wasn't easy to write even though it was so short it was little outside the areas that I like to write about. But that is also why I like Drabbles so much I can explore areas of the Professor's works that I have explored before!

Thanks! "Heatwave" was the theme and I just kept thinking of Harad and southern Gondor and this was the result. I love writing drabbles. As you can see I am normally long-winded, Never use a word when three will do! But with a drabble you have to craft what you are saying carefully. I love it! Thanks!
