Thanks for this Ellynn, It is scarily real and not just in Italy. I am so lucky to live in a very small village in middle England. With a large garden and a large dog for company I am blessed. I have got to know my neighbours A lot more in the last couple of weeks, (at a safe distance,) and while life will never be the same again some of it will be better! I had better sign off. I am supposed to be trying to work from home Stay safe and do keep playing your part in keeping us sane! Thanks again for posting this. Author Reply: Hey, thank you so much for reading and reviewing. Yes, this situation affects all of us. And yes, I'll try to keep playing my part - the new story is already in the making - this time, much more cheerful!

Today's issues do work themselves into our stories. Horrible to have to make such decisions. I work now as a caregiver, and our boss is making us masks that can be bleached and reused, and she is talking of us having to wear protective garb that can also be bleached and washed daily. It's grim just thinking of it. But we need to protect our clients. Author Reply: Thanks for the review, and best wishes!!!

I'm so sorry for the pain that underlies your writing here. But you're right. I haven't been out of the house except to walk in our neighborhood to glean a little sunshine and fresh air. When I meet neighbors walking, one of us will cross the street well before our paths would cross. I really hope that won't be banned, but I'll honor the ban if it comes. I am going to the store today because it's been a week since our last run and we're running low on a few things. I hope those things will be on the shelves. Actually, I'd really rather not go to the store... I might end up ordering groceries online, even though I'll still need to wipe them down when they arrive, and I'll profusely thank (and tip) the shopper who ran the risk of working in a public space and touching possibly contaminated surfaces. Meanwhile, SoA has become a refuge of sorts. And your story is not out of place at all. I have often used a fanfic story to work out difficult issues in my own mind, to clarify my thinking. This tale provides good food for thought, I think. I appreciate your thoughtfulness in appending story warnings. Blessings to you and yours in these troubling times. Author Reply: I'm going to the shop when neccessary, and that's it. As far as I know, grocery-shops in my neighborhoud don't have online ordering, so I hope there won't be a complete ban.
