Alas, poor Éowyn. I know just how she feels.

Looking forward to reading more. (((hugs)))

Hope you and yours are staying safe. Still waiting until they get to my category for vaccine distribution.

So happy you are enjoying this! Yeah I feel her pain as well, never quite fitting in and not really knowing why.

To Date my mom is fully vaccinated!! Yeah!!! A huge weight off my mind. And here in California March 15 is the date for those with underlying conditions!! My underlying condition is Diabetes. I have my vaccination appointment March 17!!

Hope yours is coming up very soon!

Stay safe! Mellon nin!

Poor Éowyn, she's as "torn in two" as Frodo later became. Your details are wonderful, and this is one of my favorites here:

Éowyn added butter to the hot pan and sat and watched it melt holding the handle of the pan with a holder which then reminded her over a particular grip of a sword that she and Théodred had been going over the day before and as she was pondering that, Thilda bellowed, “It is burning!”

And poor Thilda, as well!

Yes. Éowyn is living two lives. One she wants (and has talent in) and the one she is supposed to have. I think possibly the reason she is so bad at the "womanly arts" is that she has no interest in them and she is being forced. Thilda is also being forced to teach the girls on top of her regular job and probably accounts for her short temper.

Éowyn had gotten to the point of wanting to die in battle at the Pelannor Fields and then she meets Faramir....awww! And they lived happily to the end of their days! :-))

Thanks for reading and taking the time to write!

Stay safe, mellon nin!
