| You really show how single-minded and focused Gimli was on this journey south, and how crushing the truth would have been to him. He probably channeled his grief into grim, determined action through the War as much an act of revenge as in protection for his friends. Author Reply: Well, I think that his hope determined all his actions before entering Moria and finding out the truth. The others in the Fellowhip were more realistic. Poor Gimli... it must have been devastating to find out that all the dwarves in Moria were dead. Thank you so much for reading and reviewing! :) | |
