I always did imagine that Thranduil fully expected to be killed at some point and would be slightly surprised to have survived through the War of the Ring. ;)

For reasons unknown I have only now just seen this review. Thanks for writing!

And Yup! Thranduil has certainly been the wars...both literally and figuratively! :-) I'm glad we both have stories about how he DID make it through!

Hope all is well. Didn't you say in your review replies to "We were Young Once" that you have a newborn on the way?! stay safe, Mellon nin! Stay Safe!

What a sweet story in more ways than one! ;) Love that Faramir and Eowyn have such joy and their children are so much fun. Thanks for this mighty gift!

Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Yup! Sweet indeed! Left to his own devices Elboron would have just drizzled honey into his mouth and not the measuring cup!

I love to write stories about Faramir and Éowyn getting to be happy. It is a favourite thing of mine!

thank you so much for taking the time to write. It is very appreciated! :-)

The first bite was…very good, but even if it had tasted like sawdust, he still would have loved it because it came from the heart.

Awwww. This is an adorable tale.

Thanks! I had so much fun writing it! And you know me! I just love to write about Faramir and Éowyn being happy!

Stay safe

I only rejoice that Legolas was unscathed by the battles in which he fought.

Author Reply: Larner!

Yeah! So very true. The multi-chapter story that will spring from this will be about the reunion of Thranduil and Legolas after the Ring War.

Ah, but the best presents are always those prepared with love!

Exactly! Case in point, one mother's day I bought my mom just a little pin like the pins you buy that have slogans on them or funny sayings. It cost me 50 cents. She loved it because it showed that I was thinking about her. She wore it and bragged to whoever would listen! :-)

Stay safe! Mellon nin!
