| This has been a fascinating glimpse into the After Years. How comforting to see Gandalf at peace after his arduous labours, able to indulge the laughter that was always lying beneath the surface of his burden of cares and necessary effort. This (among a few other turns of phrase) made me laugh: Because Nerdanel won’t let me do it at home. She said she won’t watch me break my damned fool neck. Not to mention "pretty" Glorfindel! It was good to see the healing that was taking place in various characters, as well. Lovely, evocative, well done. Author Reply: Thank you and I'm glad you enjoyed it! And yes!
