(This is very late, but here goes anyway...) This series was delightful and I'm sorry it's finished. I love to think about the sons of Feanor being re-embodied, and even Feanor himself, and getting a second chance to find happiness. They were all so talented, and not really bad people to begin with (although I know some will disagree with me). They deserved better, and you gave it to them. And Elros -- he and his brother both deserved that too. What are you doing these days? I hope you will write more...

I'm glad, I guess, that Elrond and Elros are reunited. It seems to me, though, that if a mortal (Elros) can come to Valinor, then that also leaves the door open for Aragorn... Author Reply: And Andreth, too, right? lol! Fix all the heartbreaking holes Tolkien left us poor readers! I will admit a lot of my stories are my own self-indulgent "Fix-its!" Eluréd and Elurín has always been a huge one for me! The separation of Elrond and Elros is the other. Mostly for Elrond's sake as he's been bereft of family more than anyone, save Nerdanel. My "reason" for giving Elros back to Elrond was a selfish one, but I also premised it by saying "The Powers" have discovered Elrond will have important tasks ahead of him and he'll need his brother to help him - it was also my way of concluding this series. But, more plot Bunnies have occurred since then and I might have some additions to it - who knows?

Haa bless you dear. If I could hug you I would. The last paragraph caught me off guard and the reunion (finally) almost made me tear and I'm a grown man lol! Love love love this. Question though, if Elros was sent from the Timeless Halls that means he is a spirit right? How come he can stay in Aman till Dagor Dagoroth? Or is he being reembodied? Aran Author Reply: Thank you and I'm very glad you enjoyed it! No re-embodiment needed. Elros is like the Maiar now - as is Fingolfin. They can both make their own bodies - and shape-shift. They're on a higher esoteric level, but let's face it - those who lived in Arda for any length of time got quirky (i.e. Aiwendil and Olórin). So I can see Fingolfin and Elros becoming quite friendly because they understand each other - which will creep Elrond out. LoL And before you ask, there will be no Andreth - she's moved on. Part of the "things" Elros can't talk about (that's classified - lol).
