| Thank you for re-uploading this story! I had never considered how much Saruman's betrayal must have hurt Gandalf, but of course it did. They were comrades, sent to Middle-earth on a mission together. I like the way you write Elrond and Gandalf. In my imagination Gandalf was even more gruff :) | |

| PSW! I really enjoyed this! But for the Breach of January 2025 I might never have found it. I love the relationship between Elrond and Gandalf. It has the feel two have been friends for a very long time and they need not hold back what they think or feel. Each has their thoughts and feelings and I love how Elrond finally relents and places all aside to feel empathy for Gandalf and the betrayal that he feels. Very nicely done! Thanks!
