what can i say? it's utterly fantastic! i especially like the idea of bickering dark lords (or eyeballs, as the case may be), as it is rather amusing. it's nice to see character development of "baddies". well done! more! more! :)

Like it? Oh, yes! At last I find myself able to review. As I have said, I am very pleased to see this updated again. If in Eldarion's place, doubtless I would have gone off with a talking pony. I can imagine Iorwen will worry. Saruman the Many-Colored? Bah! Who's ever heard of him? The story's coming along nice. Be in no rush for updates! I'll just sit here and pretend to be patient.

Hehehe...This is actually rather amusing to read. I, myself, am currently trying to digest The Silmarillion, and it's fun to see that the characters are being used in some stories. *snickers* Little Barrel...Love it^^ Keep it up, and I'll stay tuned for more updates!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA... oooh my aching ribs!!! *snort* Eldarion, you scamp! Puff-puff! Alright, I know this part wasn't supposed to be that funny, but for some reason, I began envisioning the dark ominous clouds... You know how in cartoons the single raincloud follows around an unlucky character and does nothing but rain on him? That's how I picture Aragorn, at the moment. Thranduil, you say? Where!? *squeaks excitedly* Oh I love Thranduil! Author Reply: Haha...the raincloud thing... Yup, Thranduil should (hopefully) make an appearance soon...Just as soon as he gets the letter and travels to Gondor.

Yes, Miriel, I am enjoying this story very much, although I am now a bit confused about the tone you are trying to set. For awhile it seemed to be silly humor (Sauron becoming a Nose?). At this point the Baddies are a bit more believable, but they are still acting really dumb. So despite your wish to put something 'dark" in, the story has a sort of "light" tone to me. I am just skeptical that an elemental baddie like Melkor would be this clueless. Oh, well, I'm still enjoying it. BTW did you say you would read our fiction if we reviewed your site? OK, my fiction (original, not LOTR fanfic) is at my site, http://www.geocities.com/shadow42.geo/fiction.html . Author Reply: Thanks for reviewing! Truly, I'm just rolling with whatever tone the muses give me. I think that while I would like for the story to get darker, it most likely will not. I enjoy humor and comdey very much, so probably most of this story will be light. Sorry I haven't gotten a chance to read your fic yet! I'll try to see it later. (Although geosites doesn't get along well with my computer.) Thank you for your review.

I'm enjoying this immensely. I love getting a glimpse into the characters that we don't usually get to see as more than a label, like "dark Lord". This fanfic site is as good as getting another LOTR book! There's lots of room for humor, too: "Sauron & co. decide to use a mundane object for their next ploy. One Toaster to Rule Them All..." although I don't know how silly you want to get. I really do like seeing what really makes guys like Sauron tick. (guys? am I sure he is a "guy"?)

I can find few words to express my thoughts on this chapter other than: *Snort. Chuckle. Burst out laughing. Gasp for air* Whew. Author Reply: I'm so glad that I can bring a bit of humor to this dull, dull world. OMG, imagine my shock today when I opened my mail to find 4 reviews! I was floored. I almost fell out of my seat from the shock. Thank you for your lovely sentences of appreciation! Next chapter coming soon! I just need a couple of days to process ideas before I begin to complete chapter 9, so expect an update in a week or so. Thank you again!

The recent updates made my otherwise below-zero cold and gloomy day a cheery one. The 'OUR PLAN TO TAKING OVER ARDA By Lord Melki and his Lieutenant Salir'...is clever and hilarious! Really, the whole story has a cozy, funny feeling; and that is my favorite sort of humor. Ah, but it is darkening, literally. When those two ‘villains’ darkened the city, it had both a dramatizing and funny effect at the same time. Author Reply: "Cozy, funny feeling." Yes, as in things will get bad, but not so bad as to the point where you will begin feeling depressed. Haha, you know, when I said the next chapter would be somewhat "darker" I meant it in the figurative sense, but I think that it's hysterical that I achieved that in the literal sense as well. Thanks so much for reviewing!
