Guilt  by paranoidangel 3 Review(s)

Wow, you really have a thing for torturing poor Elrond.
It's great to find like minded people with incredible talents for putting him in such torments.

Please excuse any typos but I can barely see what keys I'm hitting (take that as a compliment.)

That was such sweet sorrow. I feel for Elrond immensely. TO finally come to terms with your brother's loss and be prepared to accept it only to find that it's already happened and his last thoughts of you are a refusal to see him...

*sob*

Cathy,

Author Reply: I do like to torture him - I'm just nasty that way :)

Thanks for the review - I'm glad you, liked it.

Wow. No wonder he felt guilty. How tragic. To me, Elrond is such a sad figure. He loses everyone, right down to his daughter. And yet he lives by duty, creates a refuge, and stay in ME while he is needed.

Author Reply: That's what fascinates me about Elrond - he's lost so many people in his life and yet he constantly puts himself in a position to lose more.

Oh, poor Elrond! I've had several ideas of my own about what happened when Elros died - that Elrond was far away, but knew instantly, or that he was by his brother's side. The fact that he was summoned, but did not get there in time, and actually *refused* = lots of Elrond angst! I like this interpretation.

Author Reply: Thanks. Lots of Elrond angst is always good! I couldn't find this interpretation anywhere else so I just had to do it. Poor Elrond, indeed.
