| ROFL! Go Pip! Not easy trying to type with tears of laughter. Did a great job! Loved the interactions of hobbits and wizard. Sam was great! Author Reply: Thank you! I loved writing it too. Thanks for mentioning Sam specifically. I had someone ask why he was the first to succumb (other than Gandalf) and I wanted to tell them it was because he was the one with the most sense! | That way hilarious. As funny and poignant as the first episode. That must have been quite some journal. And I suspect that the house will be VERY quiet tomorrow morning. | I can't tell you how much I enjoyed this story and the first that proceeded it - so different to see the fellowship and other characters doing something different and love the idea that Frodo looked to be coming out on top for the most part. Love the parts about Frodo's antics with various hobbit lasses - great interaction with all of the characters. I want to see what Sam's reaction was to Frodo's drunkeness from the first story and at the beginning of this one you went one better and showed the reaction of Merry and Pippin as well. Now to see how Aragorn and Faramit react into walking into the room full of drunken hobbits and wizard. Great stuff - going to reread both to enjoy them all over again. JULES Author Reply: LOL! I know! I love my angst, but Tolkien's hobbits were also decidedly merry and loved their fun. This was a lot easier to write than I imagined. I am tickled you folks enjoyed it as much as you did.
