what a fun story! (even if i read it a bit late for Halloween) The image of Thranduil and Tanglinna running screaming was hilarious! That one will stay with me. monica

This was so cute. It had all the ingedients from the urban..or in my case...rural legends. I remember the hook man! The couple goes parking...hears scratching on the car...he digs off and when he gets to her house and goes to open her door...the hook is hanging off her door handle! What an ingenious idea! Shoot! You even had me trying to recall more of the old ghost stories I heard growing up. You even left us with the thriller moment of knowing that someone 'was' out there. This was great, Tree Hugger. I'm such a sucker for a good scary tale....just not too scary! I really got a kick out of this. Karen

ooo... SPOOKY! With an appropriately twisted and unexpected ending. Great story, TreeHugger! Happy Howl-o-ween to you, too! LKK
