| Adorable! A lovely and affectionate piece with all the warmth and cuteness of a basket of kittens. I love how you named the most mischievous one Pippin! It was a nice thought that Frodo has his furry companions to watch over him when he cannot allow himself to be a burden on his dear human friends. | |

| Oh, my, I love this little tale. My own kitties knead my chest and lick my face, and they all sleep on top of me and one likes to pounce on my feet when I move at night. They are a great comfort, even when laying across the keyboard one is typing on *ahem*, and the only greater joy would be in being able to have them forever. It would be truly wonderful if Frodo had these dear companions too. | |

| Oh, Hobbsy! I adore this story. So peaceful and healing! "He also saw scattered all over the coverlet the twelve kittens and Tom and Goldberry watching him more closely than any nurse or healer from the house of Elrond ever had." Sigh. (And I wonder how many cats are in the Shire *now*? Must be... a lot..!) Author Reply: Thanks for liking my kittie tale! It's one of my personal favorites because I love my own two cats and know how comforting the little creatures can be. They were the inspriation for the felines Tom and Goldberry. It resulted from a discusion on the Khazaddum.com message board about whether Frodo would be a cat or dog kind of person. Obviously I think he is definitely a cat person.
