| Hobbsy, I must say that this story is extremely touching and heartwrenching. I think I cried on a few parts! I love the way you created Briar to be a character that stirs compassion and admiration at the same time. I almost wish the story ended (or began?) differently because I wanted Frodo to stay with her and be happy. Thank you for such a wonderful and sweet look at love. | |

| Hobbsy, What a fine tale. You covered a good deal of time and carried it off quite well. Your characters were the hobbits we knew, but you delved deeper into what Frodo must have felt and thought and it brought a clearer picture of his suffering. Briar was an interesting character. You gave her quite a range of emotions, pitiful and painful sufferings and strong qualities. I liked her even at her worst. It was hard not to when all she craved was love and security. A bittersweet story that was well done. :>) Karen | |
