| I like the slurred speech. Very fitting in light of all of the drugs. I do feel sorry for Merry. He is trying so hard to help everyone and it is wearing him out. Looking forward to more. | This is wonderful and I wish there were more right now. LOL I hope you plan to update soon. Poor Merry! All he tries to do is help and he winds up feeling guilty. | Maybe you should also have mentioned how Pippin shouldn't talk about great battles in front of Frodo, too. That would be an important part as well. Author Reply: First, you have to remember youre talking about Pippin. He speaks first then thinks (maybe) afterwards. | |

| When did Aragorn die? I can see how he would understand that Frodo wanted to be free of his pain, but how can he know from his own experiences? Author Reply: This is an alternate universe story. I would like to think that Aragorn has had many many dangerous adventures and has either had the experience of near death, or known someone who has had this experience. I am merely augmenting to JRR Tolkien's wonderful stories, not re writing them. I believe each author should have artistic license in order to creatively express the 'what if' type of scenario. | |
