| Oh, poor long-suffering Pippin. The poor baby should be put to bed because his uncle's been working him too hard. :) Ah, Pip, you're a riot. Maybe he could teach them how to play the Silent Game. But that would probably drive him crazy too, since he's more the noise type person. :) Can I have an apple, Pippin? I didn't get one either. ;) And I loved the little go-around with Pippin and Merry about the reasons why Pip can't go; and then the other one with the list between Doc and Merry. Paper boat . . . Hahaha. I love this story! :) Author Reply: I am trying to write Pippin as older but he keeps regressing on me! LOL As to Merry's paper boat answer, I have always felt that Merry was the sarcastic one in the group. Always coming back with the snappy replies. I will speak to Pippin and see if I can get you an apple. | |

| Don't think I've deserted you! I was in the middle of this chapter the day it was posted, but then my Dad needed the computer and I have only just now been able to get back with you! AGH, there aren't enough hours in the day! :) Anyway, so far I'm loving Merry's and Pippin's new maturity, although Pip's still his ol' (or rather young) self. :) Tell Doc to just stick his hand outside and the sticky stuff will come right off. Unless it's *extra* sticky. :) Also enjoying Doc. You've made him into another of my favorite hobbits. Take care on your trip, Merry! Author Reply: I am so glad that you are enjoying Saradoc. I like him as well. I have been worried about my new older hobbits as I have no experience in this area so it is good to hear that they are coming off well. | |

| Alright, you've gone and done it. You've gotten cruel. There had better not be too long a wait to find out who you have gone and drowned with Merry. LOL Good cliffhanger!! This is wonderful. I love Pippin suffering with all the wee lads and lasses, and I love that he had them in the palm of his hand with his story. Author Reply: Cruel? Who, me? Surely not! Glad you like my cliffhanger as I usually post too quickly to have any of those. I'm trying something new on this one. Is it working? As to Pippin, I thought he deserved to see things from a new perspective. Who knows, maybe childcare will be good for him.
