What a beautiful moment between Eomer and Lothiriel. Simply beautiful. So this lovely epic of a novel is coming to it's close..sort of (just read your DIFFERENT TWIST OF EVENTS...YAY!). Aragorn truly is a kind and just king. The conclusion of the story was short and sweet but left me with one question. What of the relations with Rohan and the Dunlendings? Obviously there is still some ill will. Maybe I missed something in one of the previous chapters. Anyway...WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL STORY!!! THANK YOU.

Author Reply: Thanks for your nice review! Well, there will be more negotiations between the Rohirrim and the Dunlendings, but since the folk from the mountains had to realize that the Easterlings only used them for their own purpose they might be more willing to accept Èomer's offer.

very good story, I enjoyed it a lot. Looked forward to each chapter, to see what would happen next.
Good that Aragorn found a place for the Easterlings. Got me to wondering what a sharo looks like. Somehow I come up with some kind of lamma creature.
Glad that everyone came out in one piece, even if bandages were required.

Author Reply: Hi Grumpy,

hum, well, we just couldn't let one of the main characters die, could we? And I have to admit that - selfish as I am - I wouldn't want to lose Hilberon or Ridasha, either. Thanks for all of your friendly and encouraging comments!

Those moments with Arwen and Aragorn are so precious. And I just LOVE Vlohiri!!! He is so endearing. The Rohirrim's are just awesome!!! They are so...heroic. Especially Eomer!! I LOVE THAT GUY!! Very good chapter. Hope everything goes well on the Rohirrim's ride home!! Awaiting the next chapter with much anticipation!!!

Author Reply: There was a dire need for some light moment between the two, ey? Even a king needs a reward for all the hardships he had gone through. And the others, too, will find release from the awful pressure they had been under.

Thanks for your reviews!

Aragoarn is alive, and up and talking. Eomer is doing well to, even if he looks to have been in a tavern brawl.
I do believe that Aragorn should keep Vlohiri closer to him, they miss each other.
Wonder if Eomer is going to make it back to Rohan without opening the package, but he did give his word, but it will be hard not to peek.
Looking forward to what happened next.

Author Reply: At least Vlohiri will stay for a while, and he's not off the world. After all, he stays with Faramir.
Éomer gave his word, and true warriors never break it! LOL!

I'm with Tares. I would have loved to ki11 that evil woman myself. I know Aragorn will pull through this with Arwen's help. I hope this dark presence will not remain in him!! Aragorn needs a break and he deserves to be happy without any angst for once (won't happen will it?) Touching scene with Arwen and Vlohiri. I'm glad Arwen said those things to Vlohiri. I love Faramir. I'm glad he has not given Ridasha a break just yet. "And I hope that your leader's cruelty does not kill the King of Gondor in the end". Very ominous!!! I love it! As usual I will be waiting for the next update!!!

Author Reply: If writers can avoid it Aragorn won't get too many peaceful moments . And thanks for the praise about Vlohiri. Love the lottle boy, too.

what a great chapter. Good thing that Arwin knew to get Lomac to Aragorn, Now if only dear, sweet Aragorn will open his eyes. Well perhaps the rest of him should get better too. Vlohiri's reaction to Arwin's words was great, and it was a long way for him too walk, good thing he did not have to go the whole way. Poor Ridasha always seems to be suck in the middle.

Author Reply: Yes, the poor boy would have needed an aeon to walk to Minas Tirith, but nevertheless, he was willing to. But that's another story, indeed.
Ridasha has a cross to bear, yes, but hopefully she'll find her peace and happiness, too.

Oh wow - you said it would be a while before the next update, and then here this was before I even expected it (though I did trust to hope....). And what a chapter! I love Arwen's mirth - her reaction is so very understandable. I'm worried about Aragorn, of course, but what stands out to me from this chapter above everything else is Eomer's sheer stubbornness and will. A lesser man (indeed, most men) would never have made it as far as he did. Oh - and Erkenbrand? I am so very thankful that he may yet survive this!

Thank you for a fabulous read.

Author Reply: Always love to please...
Thanks for your nice words.

YEEEAAAHHHHH!!!! ARAGORN!!!!! I love the blink Aragorn gave Eomer!! This was wonderfully described. Truly unbelievable! My arms flew up with a joyful yell. Though the battle has been won, I know it is not over. I do not like that comment from Harishdane "you still lose". Sounds very ominous. The scenes described after the battle are so realistic. Poor Ridasha. Exhileration but yet anxiety and sadness. I love Faramir. Taking over as he should. Awesome. I commend you guys. Eomers struggle to stay conscious and Faramir and Elfhelm's reaction to it is so well written. Just by their "brow's creasing" says everything. I can feel Eomer trying to hang on. You two outdid yourselves. YOu two should be screenwriters (this will make a wonderful movie!!) Thanks for the speedy updates. I can't wait for the next one!!!!

I've just discovered this incredible story, and this last chapter has me on the edge of my seat, sick with horror at what is being done both to Aragorn and Eomer - not to mention Erkenbrand *wails!*.

It's a fabulous world you've woven in this story, and the pacing is wonderful. Thank you so much for sharing this; without wanting to sound horribly greedy, I do hope the next chapter is going to follow fairly swiftly because I don't know how I'm going to cope otherwise, given where you've left it. Eomer! Aragorn! Erkenbrand! *wails again*

Author Reply: Hi Pippa,

welcome to the story! You lucky girl get it on the point where it's hardly bearable yet not too far from the end. The next chapter, however, might take some time, so don't hold your breath!
