Love it! The idea of pippin's soul is somehow lost is an interesting thought.... keep up the writing... Author Reply: Thanks! I particularly love how Tolkien leaves us with so many possibilities as to what happened to Pippin after the troll fell on him. If only he had expanded those ideas! But I guess that is what fanfic is for :) | |

| Such a different take on Pippin at Cormallen. I love Gandalf comforting Merry. There's just not enough Gandalf-Merry in fics to suit me. And I love that when Gandalf asked Merry if he believed Pip about the stars, that he did, and so simply, because he believes his Pip. Looking forward to more... Author Reply: For a long time I refused to even consider doing a Cormallen fic, because I didn't want it to be a sort of 'been there, done that' type of story, so your comments here mean a lot to me. | I was glad when the stars had come to Pippin to help him. He was having such a hard time. I wonder if he will come to in the next chapter or if he still needs the stars to guide him further? | What a wonderful idea to let the stars lead Pippin back! I remember that story! I liked it very much. I hope the long walk back has not exhausted our Pippin too much, and that he will awake soon! | Very nice imagery. I also liked the tie-in to your other story. It certainly is interesting to speculate on just what is going on in the mind of someone as far gone as Pippin was at this point. | Oh, this was good. I love stories that take place just after the last battle, especially when they involve Pippin. Do you have plans to continue this in some way.
