Yes, that was a *very* important talk. What a sweet cousin-y tale. I love stories like this.

This is just delightful! Thanks for posting it! Author Reply: Aw, thanks. Not my best work, but I felt it deserved to be rescued from Lost Fanfic Limbo;-)

A lovely little dream/nightmare/ficlet/thing. Author Reply: Thanks. I only wish it had been some lost mega-fanfic epic:-)

ROTFL!! I've seen many icons with Santa hats stuck on everyone from hobbits to Saruman to Gollum to...well, let's just say I've never seen one with such an appropriate expression before!

Awwwww. The poor thing. I like to believe that some of the Oliphaunts survived, or there were more back in their homelands. They didn't have a choice. It makes sense that the great animals were taken from mothers in infancy to be trained, before they grew too large to train, to be taught to obey the puny humans. Well written.

Too funny! Faramir can read the hearts of men, but not apparently, the hearts of women, at least not in regard to gift-giving (like most men). But he did mean well. Well done! Good Arwen/Eowyn dialogue.

Oh, hilarious! Yes, only for love would she agree to wear such a thing!

Yes, Frodo needs to dream of the happiness he deserves, not the quite other blessings he knew instead. He's still of the Shire now, and he has young Merry to love and guide. A lovely tale.

No, not a "goof" at all. A sweet, warm dream, a wish for the life he would have liked to have had. The whole piece is a warm little bonding moment for the two of them. The close relationship all of the Fellowship Hobbits had as grown-ups had to begin somewhere. Thank you for letting us see some of those moments!
