My Drabbles   by Elendiari22 43 Review(s)

sixteen children in the charge of only three male hobbits! I am not shaking my head in sympathy I am wincing in anticipation of what Rosie will find when she gets home. Brave of her to leave at all. But then again I am feeling just like Aragorn whenever I read stories on this site - wishing I was there and not just looking in from a distance!

Author Reply: I suppose that if Aragorn had looked towards the door, he would have seen Rosie standing and surveying the chaos with a look of grim death on her face. And possibly Estella and Diamond as well. :)

Of course he is an honourary hobbit! *g* He has been since getting the Travellers to Rivendell if not before; a long time before in some Author's slightly AU stories! Loved this though.

And there can be no greater honor for such as Aragorn son of Arathorn to be considered just that--as an honorary Hobbit. Love to see the King playing, in peace and joy, with the children of one he loves so well, the honorary nieces and nephews of the other he has loved also.

"could never bear to leave anyone out at Yuletide"

Aw, now, I want to read about Yuletide just after leaving Rivendell.

You have me grinning, an ever-widening grin as the story progresses.

"seemingly always up to something"
If I didn’t know better, I’d say they were plotting to overthrow me.

LOL!

When I got to the part about sulfur, I knew what was up.

Such a lovely surprise!

Awww. An honorary hobbit, indeed!

Awww...What a warm, snuggly, comfy piece of fluff on a very cold fall day here where I am. Thank you for posting it.

Great series of drabbles. Love the hobbits and their pranks, the fireworks, and a king who has sweets in his pockets.

Oh, Gaffer, what a wonderful tribute to the new young master! Love it!

The Gaffer held a good deal of respect for those "mad" Bagginses. It's so nice to see his thoughts of appreciation here. I could see Frodo doing something like that, and thinking nothing about it.
