| It's nice how Lothy is adjusting to her new life and new role. The scene with Amrothos was amusing, wonder who the lady was though? I also got the impression that the minstrel's granddaughter will have a larger role to play in the future and that the resident healer of Edoras will be one of Lothy's hurdles in her new life. I'm wondering just why she is so dead-set on speaking with Eofor though. |

| Enjoyed the dialogue in this one, especially Eomer's reconsideration of extending Amrothos' stay in Rohan if only to spite Elphir. I also enjoyed how Amrothos started the duel! He could be so sly and funny, enjoyed how he manhandled Eofor. The pretend fainting/dizzy scene was priceless! Just loved the whole "dying swan" bit and how someone thought he should join a circus because of his highly advanced skills. It's amusing that Lothy's menfolk have to join forces just to dissuade her from doing something that she has set her mind on. |

| I enjoyed the focus on Amrothos on this chapter, especially the hilarious comments of his family members about his loquaciousness. I wonder how he did that trick of his with the drawing of the lots. |

| I think the sunset scene in the previous chapter was very romantic. For this one, I loved Amrothos' lines again--the good/bad manners dialogue was precious! |

| Appreciate all the hardwork you put into writing this. The details were exquisite and engaging--found myself re-reading the footnotes and going back to the narrative. I'm also learning something while enjoying the story. I hope Eofor gets what he deserves. |

I really enjoyed reading the quotes you placed at the beginning of each chapter. The scene with Amrothos' hangover was priceless. Eomer's reaction to having Amrothos stay longer in Rohan was very entertaining--I'm sure the Dol Amroth prince would have a lot to contribute by way of wit.
Liked how Lothy handled the impertinence of Aldhelm. |
