What a sweet, gentle moment to see from Elanor's POV. And perfect for Ring-day.

Author Reply: Very nice to meet you, Pippin! I am glad you like this. Bacon is a sort of inside joke with me Arwen, Goldberry Apple Blossom and Lea. You can ask the Lady Arwen about it if you'd like, but that might get into a long complicated story... but being hobbits, it shouldn't be too bad. *hehe* I am sure Pippin knows what bacon is made of, but in his excitement over the food, he quite forgot! Thank you for reviewing, and I do hope you stop by my stories again. Are you thinking of becoming an author here, or are you already?
God bless, mellon nin,
Ellie

Yes, the Ringbearer is hopefully finding the healing he needs, and the Lord Samwise the Faithful has hope indeed.

Although canonically Elanor was born on this day and was only six months old when Frodo left the Shire, still the idea she spoke first to Frodo on the anniversary of this day is a wonderful one.

Author Reply: Yes, I like being able to twist things just a little. But when do hobbits usually begin talking anyways? Thanks for reviewing, glad you enjoyed it!
God bless,
Elanor

Osgiliath is being rebuilt and I know the view gives Da hope that Uncle Frodo will be healed as well.

That's really nice. :D

Lovely. The understanding of Rosie of Sam and Frodo's relationship is beautifully expressed.

One correction--the bow is the front of the ship, and the stern the rear. He wouldn't be stepping up to the stern to look ahead.

Author Reply: Thank you for telling me! *ooops* I'm not that much of a ship expert, so i keep forgetting. Glad you liked it though!
God bless,
Ellie
