| Sigh...And an end comes to this lovely little story. Enjoyed it very much. Especially Frodo's awakening. Loved that it was Aragorn there to see him first and that Merry slept through it. :oD BTW, I've read "In The Keeping of The King" and it's a fantastic story. Highly reccomend it for those who haven't read it. Looking forward to your next story Shirebound!! As always. :o) Author Reply: Thank you, Tigger dear. And that I'm feeling amazingly chipper already only adds to it. :) Such a lovely awakening for Frodo, and I could almost hear the men applauding for Pippin and imagine them listening to the joyous shouts from across camp. | Yes, you have enticed me from my reading "fast" (yes, am online, but it is "all business" sad to say) once again. I bless your short chapters. I love the symmetry of beginning and ending with glad shouts. Legolas does understand hobbits! "Start with the kitchen", indeed! This was priceless: “That,” Aragorn told him, “is an Elf of Mirkwood, and a young Knight of Gondor.” Nice gapfiller, and imagining of what Frodo's wakening might have been like.
