Author Reply: Oh, Hannon le, Katie! I just love your reviews. They always make me smile. ;) I wouldn't relax *just* yet, if I were you. But I'm not saying any more on the subject.*Baggins mischeivous grin* Merry is alright, thankfully. Now I am shocked at how everyone thought me capable of really truly hurting my Merry!
I'm so glad that you "love this story sooooo much". That really makes my day! *blushing a little*
Namarie!
God Bless,
Frodo Baggins

Bless them all, and particularly the boy. He's been through so much already.

And to not realize Merry is yet living must be tearing Frodo's poor heart in two.

Author Reply: yes, poor Frodo's heart is torn in two. Hannon le for always being such a faithful reviewer!
Namarie,
God Bless,
Frodo Baggins

Do you have a younger brother?
Well, I have, he's eight years younger than I am. And when he was little I told him lots of made-up stories, but I never created a lullaby! I like yours very much!

I think what Frodo needs most is to be assured that Merry is alive! But as long as he won't wake up, he will remain captured in some terrible, dark dream. I really hope, he'll wake up soon!

To me, Halmir is a hero! But maybe he is too young to understand that.

And what about Merry? I don't know if Budgie read these chapters, but she would have been proud of you ;-)

Please update soon - and don't forget my Merry :)

Author Reply: Yes! My younger brother is seven. In the authors note, I put "while I sang him so work" but I meant sleep. Thank you for the encouragement. That was the only lullaby I've made up that sounds half way decent. I'm not a song or poetry writer unless a fit of inspiration hits me. I tell my brother stories too, but he likes to hear songs more. :)

Yes, he does need to be assured. I am working up a tear-jerking scene for that. *mischeivous grin* I'll take care of him, don't worry.

Yes, Halmir is a sweety pie! I'll be sad when the story ends. But he may come back yet. He's sitting here staring at me begging me to let him come back. He understands too much for one so young, I'm afraid.

Wow! That's a compliment! Budgie is one of the best authors on SOA! :) I wrote these cliffhangers especially for her, so you could recomend the story if you want.
I will update soon! I will be very good to Merry. After all, he is my cousin!
God Bless,
Frodo Baggins

A lovely song, my dear! I thought it was one of the queen's, but you show great talent yourself, but of course I already knew that! :)

Namarie, God bless, Im mil le, Antane

Author Reply: Oh hannon le! If you seriously thought it was the Queen's...inspiration must hit when I'm tired! LOL! I only get inspired for poetry and songwriting every so often.
Namarie,
God Bless,
Im mil le,
Frodo Baggins

Post sript: Have you recieved my letter?

Oooooo! Oh, my dear, I lovelovelovelovelovelovelove that lullaby!!!!!! I really do! Especially this bit:

Take you now my hand my hand

Let your mind be free be free

From cares of this world this world

Let the wind take you, take you

And just follow the dream song

To the land of the dreams.

Wow! Sometimes I wish I could write songs like this, not really rhyming but beautiful and haunting. Now you've got a lovely tune running though my head. Probably not the right tune, though.

Oh, poor dear Halmir! All that fear and exhaustion is catching up with him and he just needs to be loved as much as Frodo does. I love Miriel! She's so motherly and sweet.

A beautiful, relaxing chapter, and a beautiful, beautiful song!
God bless,
An admiring Galadriel

Author Reply: *blushing* *you* admiring *me*? I don't even have a tune to this! YOur tune is probably as good as any. It's far better than anything I could ever come up with. I just remembered what you had said yesterday about how you can sing a poem with the same amount of syllables. So I did that. It just kind of came to me while I was typing. I'm glad you thought it was good.

*smiling wryly* Yes, Halmir does need as much love as Frodo does. Do you think I should still go on with...you know? The next thing?

I modeled Miriel after you! They all need a mother figure right now. And when Merry comes back, they will need a residential healer.
Namarie, mellon nin!
Im mil le,
God Bless,
Yours humbly,
Frodo Baggins

Most likely the major thing Frodo needs right now is the knowledge that in going on this exploration of the city he didn't inadvertently lead Merry to his death. He needs reassurance that he doesn't always lead others to wounding.

Author Reply: Oh my goodness! I haven't replied to you! *feeling guilty* I am so sorry! And I got your review and loved it and everything! You are so right. Just wait until the next chapter... Hannon le!

You had me a little scared with that chapter title, but I think all will be well, at least they are safe now and will be treated physically, drowned in love and I hope for that one particular hobbit, some grief counseling or something!

Namarie, God bless, Im mil le, Antane :)

Author Reply: Titles are so very important, because that is what catches people's attention. Don't worry, they'll be drowned in love. I'm kind of stalling now. THe end is very near, and I'm going to miss the lad. :( Don't worry about Frodo. He's a Hobbit, and a Baggins after all!
Namarie, mell nin!
God bless,
Frodo Baggins

*squirms* Oh, Frodo B! Oh my goodness this must be so much fun. I guess I'll find out soon when I have my own cliff-hangers to play with, but I'd so love to find out now! :) Oh well, both of our sick/hurt ones are in the best of hands now, and more help is on the way to the guest house. Yea, we get to see Miriel again! :) A young woman after my own heart, that one. As usual you have me on the edge of my seat, very very anxious to see what happens next!
God bless,
Galadriel...who can hardly type for shivering with suspense and because it's so dratted clod in here! Brrr!

Author Reply: Yes, they are in the best of hands, but that does not put them out of danger. Also, have you guessed what I was hinting at yet? I'll give you a *major* hint...it's about Halmir.

I know. I modelled Miriel after you. She is actually the Galadriel in our universe, but with a different name. :)
Namarie!
God bless,
Frodo Baggins

P.S. It was actually very funny, because as I was writing "Frodo shivered violently"I myslef was sitting here shivering with gooseflesh, and wishing someone would come and wrap me and blanket and carry me to bed. :) FB

Good - help is on the way! Finally! Glad Pippin was there to wake them up as it were and get them out there to start looking.

Namarie, God bless, Im mil le, Antane :)

Author Reply: Leave it to a Took to "wake them up" as you say. :) It is a very good thing that they were found when they were. (if that didn't make sense, my apologies. It's late..er, early, rather. But don't tell Sam:) )

Frodo is still working on reply. He sends his humblest apologies and deepest regrets. He also wishes me to tell you that he is well, and he awaits the chance to write your reply.

Namarie, melinyel!
God Bless,
Frodo Baggins

Anna heard them, and great hearted pup that she was came to find them! Wonderful that they did go out that night after all.

Author Reply: Yes, or it would have been too late for poor Merry. :( Anna saved the day again! :)
God Bless,
Frodo Baggins
