(I *almost* expected Aragorn to join them next, with Eldarion!) ;-D

Author Reply: I'm sure once he hears about it, they won't be able to keep him away.
Thanks!

Oh! I absolutely *love* this! And literally laughed out loud!

“Perhaps I should restate the question,” Éomer said, narrowing his eyes at her. “Have I ever fallen while doing this when you weren't trying to make me fall?”

Bwahahahahahaha!

- Barbara

Author Reply: I seem to have wandered away from the Eomer and Eowyn dynamic, and I don't know why. They're such fun to play off each other!
Thanks!

LOL! I like this! A nice background to one of the moments that the movie portrayed so well....

- Barbara

Author Reply: Thank you! I love those times when you remember something totally inappropriate to the situation you're in.

This is beautiful, Edoraslass! And Sam is so deserving of such rewards.

And the language is so evocative.... from the sterile oblivion of the Black Lands (*shudder*) to a small shy garden. Very well done!

- Barbara

Author Reply: Thank you! Yes, Sam deserves every bit of happiness he gets, and more.

Poor Boromir! so sad....

- Barbara

Author Reply: Yes, this one left me melancholy as well. *sniff*
Thank you!

Oh, nice! I don't recognize the verse form... something like haiku? but it packs a real wallop...

- Barbara

Author Reply: Yep, haiku. I think I have some more rattling around, somewhere...
Thanks!

Oh, what a perfect companion piece! I love the details of the carved pony, and of Sam's daily routine... and Boromir's fleeting pleasure.
- Barbara

Author Reply: For some reason, I've decided that Boromir likes to carve. I don't know why; it just seemed to fit.
And it also seems like a nice, unobtrusive way for Boromir to share something with Sam, who always appears to be rather suspicious of him, to me.
Thanks!

I really like this extended conversation between the two Men of the Fellowship. And I appreciate Boromir's creative process... some drabbles are like that, too: you don't know what you'll end up with when you start with just a phrase. LOL!

- Barbara

Author Reply: I've had so many phrases ambush me and then just sprawl into something completely different than what I intended!
Thanks!

Oh, I just adore this! Éomer is so brave in the face of such adversity! *very, very big, sappy grin*

- Barbara

Author Reply: The one thing they didn't cover in Rider Training - little sister's tea parties. :)
Thanks!

"Just following orders"... yet these are men he knew. Faramir has much reason to feel so betrayed.

- Barbara

Author Reply: He really does, IMO - but I'm also sure that he did, at some point, manage to forgive those men.
Thanks!
