The chapter looks quite good; and the plot is thickening; our heroes coming closer to the goal they seek.

Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review.I think this is a surprise for both of them!

Hmm; two steps forward and one step back, it seems. Fascinating chapter; and more to come on this spiritual and actual journey.

Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review.Progress seems painfully slow for these two!

The description of Aragorn in the lake is my favourite passage out of all the stories of yours I have ever read. Far too rarely is Aragorn portrayed in such magnificent terms. It was a true pleasure to read.

Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review. This is one of my favourite chapters too!I'm pleased that you like it so much!

You make the lake sound so beautiful and a very spiritual place. It's no wonder Aragorn feels Eru is calling to him personally. A lovely chapter.

Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review >I'm so pleased you liked the lake, based on some near my home you can see on my website.I'm glad you enjoyed the chapter.

Oh my gosh! So much tension! I hope they don't kill eachother! Very good building of the tension. I feel horrible for faramir.

Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review again my only one. I think they are angry enough to kill each other!

I like the contrast of Aragorn's more free spirit compared to Faramir's habit of rigid ritual. Oddly, I like the colder Aragorn. It's a side of him we don't often get to see. I do feel for Faramir though!

Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review. I always see Faramir as tending to be more formal than Aragorn. I found cold Aragorn quite hard to write, though from the books I feel he can be intimidating when he chooses!

Lots of great things in this chapter. I am afraid I am going to have to re-read it later due to being a bit blurry today due to meds, but I really liked what I saw. I liked all the history you included. I wrote a story about Anarion's daughter, so I liked how mentioned her. Not many people talk about Anarion, even though he's one of my favorites. I liked how Arwen came up with the whole plan, I liked seeing her taking action to make things right. I feel that is very true to her character. I look forward to reading more.

Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review. It is so nice that someone is reading here. Raksha and I assumed Anarion may well have had daughters who were not mentioned in canon.I love Arwen and see her as very wise.

Lots of detailed and well writen emotions displayed in this chapter. It's interesting to see Aragorn in such a vulnerable state, but you write it well. I really love seeing Arwen as the strength in this chapter. I like seeing her as a hero of sorts. I also really liked how you included the historical refernces from Tolkien's writing too. That added a lot to the chapter too. I'm interested to see how this plays out.

Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review.I'm pleased you liked the way I portray the emotions. It was quite hard to write Aragorn like this.I'm glad you like my Arwen.

Definitely an uncomfortable dinner! I loved the characterisation of Arwen here; she is pulling out all the stops, but Aragorn is not cooperating, and she is not pleased, though her heart aches for him. A sad and delicate situation; excellently plotted.

Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review. The more I write Arwen, the more she grows on me.I think we've all been in situations like the dreadful dinner party at some time or other.I'm pleased you enjoyed the chapter.
