| It seems Devoran is giving up alot for her father, she deserves her own life and happiness. I hope Amroth can make her see that there is a way to be happy and also do something about her cousin( like beating the crap out of him. LOL! | Thanks for giving us the reason for the slight delay in the procession back in E&L's story. It's great to see the events from her POV--I understand now the difficulty she faces in her house I can't wait to see the major part Drummer will play in the story! Hope Amroth visits her. | Oh my, I think Amroth is smitten though he probably doesn't know it yet. I like their romantic boat ride and Alphros's presence just adds more to it! The first kiss scene was so romantic. | |

| I am really starting to enjoy the way that this story is developing. I hope that her "Prince Charming" can come and rescue her from this dreary existence soon - memories are simply not enough. I loved it when he 'pulled rank' with her cousin - that was priceless. Anyway, I like the fact that it's not total trust from the very first day as that would not be realistic. By the way, there is something the matter with the formatting on the last 1/4 of the chapter today. It was fine yesterday when I first read the chapter but today the text in that section shows it all as that strike-through font. Maybe it's just my computer but I thought I should let you know! :) | |

I mean, for being the Lord's daughter to be the non-wanted relation to her cousin and wife, what a sad fate, mainly because her cousin is the one taking advance of the peace and have done nothing to deserve it. It is cruel that females didn't inherent in Gondor. I hope that she has the most beautiful love story with Amroth, she will become a lady of a royal house, with a good income and recognition, I suppose even if he is a third son, at least, she is Lothiriel size, so she can wears her dresses. I realize now that the story is named after her dog, we will have to wait to know why. Thanks you | |

| A very nice beginning! I don't believe I've read an Amroth romance before, unless it was part of a Lothiriel story! This looks to be quite different. Author Reply: It does focus on Amroth and Devoran with only a little bit of E/L thrown in for luck. I have a soft spot for him and am fascinated by Duinhir's story so wanted to combine the two. | Oh, this one's got potential, I love your work anyways, so that's an added bonus! I've never read anything really comprehensive on Amrothos, but I usually like his character in stories with Lotheriel. This looks like something I'm going to enjoy! Looking forward to more! | Oh, I've been waiting and wondering about this promised sequel! This was a marvelous start. I remember reading the short story that told about the return of Dunhuir to his home - what a sad story that was. I like Devoran and I really enjoyed this first chapter and am looking forward to see how this plays out. Author Reply: I am afraid it gets sadder before it gets better.
