Just out of curiosity, when in the movies does it say that Legolas is 2,000 years old? I thought I had memorized both of them, and I can't seem to remember that part. By the way, I'll be back to actually review this story later. I haven't actually read this story, I'm "pasting" the first few chapteres onto Microsoft word so that I can get off-line and open up the telephone for calls, we don't have DSL yet, darn it! I just thought I'd ask. Don't worry, this is not my last word on this story.

*Cheers at quick update* Heehee. "Why do you have yo make your elbows so pointy?" LOL. I love "snoreleaf." I must begin to spell things backwards in my storied, that would definatly save some time. :)

Once again, I simply love Shadofax and his arragance. I do believe that this is the first time I have read anything from his POV.

Cheers!

Oh, dear. *laughs* I like the picture that forms in my mind for a Glorfindel that has lost most his hair, but I am sorry that he has had to put up with this scouting party! Now Borofara :) is in prison. I hope he doesn't rot too much before he can be rescued. I like how you have built up the relationship between Boromir and Aragorn. Wonderful job! I hope the hobbits are able to be found soon. I like how Shadowfax treated Gandalf and then was insulted! Now Merry is stuck in Imladris! I hope he doesn't try anything foolish. Looking froward to more! Thank you!

Author Reply: Hai-
Glorfindel will definitely deserve some serious vacation time after the mission has been complete. Elrond owes him BIGTIME. :) Ah yes, it looks like plans are in order to rescue Boromir. Leave it up to the Rangers' Finest to hatch a fool-proof plan. *lol* Shadowfax's ego seems to have taken a life of its own--and that definitely can't be a good thing. I'm sure Merry will find something to keep himself occupied with during his down time. ;) Thank you for the fantastic review!!!

"lasta berta nin hilo jigger thingy woooo.” I loved Merry imitating Elrond. Thsi could get him into much trouble in later chapters.

Ah, Boromir and his dilusions...methinks that the fair maiden would feign slap then be swooned...

Loving it! Update soon!

*grin* Poor Boromir does need a little help in the romance department, it would appear. His method of approaching the situation points towards a most undesirable result. Then again, I suppose he'll have to figure that out for himself. ;) Oooh, thank you for the response in regards to the italicizing bit. And thank you for the great reviews!!!

'Elf.'

'Dwarf.'

Heehee.

Elven braids as well as beards...oh no! How will either ever regain their dignity.

And I thought that Gimli and Legolas might actually get along...silly me.

OMG, I love this chapter...ELrond and Gil-galad indeed! (Gil-galad was an elven king...)

They kidnapped the bar maid. "Aragorn the Kidnapper." Heehhee. Love it!!

The Singing Mumak. I wonder if they will see one by the end of their travels? (I for one would like to see a flying cow...)

Un-italicised flashbacks. Thoughts are in italics, flashbacks can usually be told simply by how well written the falshback is.

Shadowfax's attitude is a source of great amusement for me. Shame on him! (That would have been hysterical for GAndalf to have turned him into a pig!)

lol, The Shiney. I like that! stupid birds! although this is reminding me of Alfred Hitchcocks (sp?) The Birds. Oh, no now the hobbits are being hunted by Eagles who will probably scare them even more! Now the hobbits have a phobia of birds, that will be nice. I love Borofara! Made me laugh! kidnapping a bar maid. I find it dreadfully amusing! ;) Legolas and Gimli certainly don't seem to be getting along. Glorfindel handled it all quite well I thought, although Gimli baited Legolas further. Looking forward to more! Thank you!

Hehe! Good one for Legolas! Though I can't imagine Gimli's horror at thinking Legolas then Glorfindel were eating his brains! Yuck! "Funny, he never realized just how sweet and berrylike his blood tasted", loved it. How will Legolas fare against Glorfindel?
Poor hobbits, thinking an Elf Lord is trying to steal the One Ring then running off on their own only to be captured by crebin! The Merry plunging to what I can only hope was not his death! How will Gandalf help them? Thank you for such a wonderful story! I'm looking forward to more!
