Of course he was more than the Fool of a Took! But the Fellowship needed a "fool" like Pippin to lighten their hearts, to keep on going and not giving up! Who knows how far they would have come without Pippin at their side! Author Reply: Hello Andrea, my thoughts exactly! Faramir would be dead for a start, if it hadn't been for Pippin. And who would have lightened the Fellowshp's spirits and given them the heart to continue if Pippin hadn't been there? Methinks things might have been very different otherwise ... Thanks for R & R-ing, m'dear, M ;)

These are great little glimpses of our beloved characters. Author Reply: Hello shirebound, thanks. Homestly, thanks. I was beginning to think I'd completely messed the Aragorn drabble up! Thanks very much for R & R-ing, M ;)

Yea, Pippin - you will indeed prove yourself! Namarie, God bless, Antane :) Author Reply: Hello Antane, he did indeed prove himself. Why, even a troll couldn't flatten his desire to prove his worth. But that's Tooks for you. Persistent beyond reason. Just like you ... *sniggers* Thanks for R & R-ing, my bloom, M ;)

Ooh, this gave me chills. I had never though that Pippin would be looking to prove himself in the Siege of Minas Tirith. Slightly obvious in hindsight. Good story! Author Reply: Hello AzureSkye, chills? Really? Excellent! Then it worked better than I thought it would ;) I think that Pippin probably was looking to prove that he could be more than a burden to his friends, and wanting to justify his insistence on accompanying Frodo on the Quest in the first place after the Council of Elrond. Especially after his little mishaps in Moria (chucking that stone down the hole in the floor and alerting the orcs to the Fellowship's presence) and en route to Helm's Deep (when he looked into the Seeing Stone). Poor wee mite ... Thanks for R & R-ing, Kara's Aunty :)

Just delightful! Author Reply: Hello Linda, wow, I'm thrilled you're enjoying these drabbles! Poor Legolas, eh? What a concept to have floating about your mind - hairy elflings ... *snorts* Thanks very much for R & R-ing, M ;)

LOL!!! These are all very good, especially the ones where Pippin is involved ;-) the hairiest elves in Arda What a sight they would make! Would they have beards? And how would they be called? Dwarf elves? Elf dwarves? So many questions... Author Reply: Hello Andrea, wow, excellent questions. What would they be called? Dwarflings? Dwelflings? Hideous? As for beards, I imagine they'd have more than enough bumfluff to give Cirdan a run for his money ... Thanks for R & R-ing, m'dear, M ;)

LOL! I love the thought of 'the hairiest elves in Arda'. I wonder what Gimli would think of the idea? :>) Author Reply: Hello Jay, I think it's probably in Legolas' own best interests that he never share his thoughts on the matter with Gimli ... hahaha! But it is a hysterically funny idea! Thanks for R & R-ing, M ;)

Leave it to Pippin to think up a question like that!! ROTFL. As much as I do adore Gimili, I have to agree with Legolas on this one. A short hairy, blonde haired elfling is just not a visual I would want to be responsible for. Thanks for the giggles this morning. Author Reply: Hello eliza61, yep, Pippin is as fresh as they come. Cheeky boy! But that's why we love him. Poor Legolas' head is probably still spinning with less than pleasant thoughts of hirsute elflings mining caves and yelling (gruffly) for their Ada ... *cackles hysterically* Thanks for R & R-ing, Kara's Aunty ;)

Oh, this gave me a chuckle, I can just see it, elflings with beards! Lynda Author Reply: Hello Lynda (with a 'y'), it does present a hilarious image, doesn't it? A hairy elfling ... *snorts* Poor Legolas! Thanks for R & R-ing, M ;)
