A perfect offering for the prompts, and thanks so for the notes that show the research done. Tolkien was certainly inspired by his own studies!

Author Reply: I love that sentence in Old English - Eärendil, the Star of Hope being also the spark of inspiration that led to the creation of Middle-earth...

I rather like the great Eagles also, and love this look at their actions throughout the ages of Middle Earth.

Author Reply: I struggled with this form a bit, I'm glad you like it!

Oh, but this is beautiful! Hope embodied in emerging tree and returning king!

Author Reply: I liked the paralelle =)

Lovely. That last part gave me chills. What a lonely, determined, wonderful little tree -- destined to be greeted with reverence, sweet misting waters of a fountain, and love from generations of grateful folk.

Author Reply: Thank you very much! The tree is just like a certain Ranger who became king =)

You have handled these prompts very well, and I have enjoyed reading all of them so far. The third one feels almost like a Viking poem.

Author Reply: Thank you very much! Yes, it should feel old, as it uses aliterative verse which was mostly used for the sagas.

Very creative response to the prompts. I like it!

Author Reply: Thank you again! =)
