Forging Hope  by Ellie 88 Review(s)

A fulfilling and heartbreaking story. Poor Arafinwe, having found and then lost so much. Reading this I am reminded why mortals should not strive for immortality. Having to endure losses like this for all eternity would be too much.

Sorry, I'm not good with riddles like this. I'm not from the US. What is P.E.? I feel glad for the kids that Gandalf is there and recognizes kind of what is going on. Poor Kaylee, it is hard to go to bed without your mom and dad in a strange world.

Finally, I get back to reading fanfiction. I have the notification for this story in my inbox for years. I'm glad I started reading. This story is of to a good start. Now I just have to remember the family connections of Arafinwe.

I absolutely loved this! I don't know what to say... Those 6+ years of writing were a hundred percent worth it, in my opinion. I'm going to be rereading this many times in the years to come :)

This was a very interesting story, well written and incredibly original, I have never read something like this in the fadom, and I have read a lot of fanfiction😔. I hope this message gets to you.

This is a wonderfull story that brought tears to my eyes more than once. Please continue, you and the other members of your group, to write such stories as have been filling all my leasure time for a while. I wish I could join, but I have no talent for writing, although I think I might he good at proof reading.
I think I would call myself Colleenneth, lol.

Poor, silly Laureher, you can be so right and still so WRONG.

"Perhaps if two people love each other, then they should be together and their races should not matter. Did not all love come from Eru?" <-This is, I feel, a deep truth that goes far beyond this story.

One must wonder what Arafinwë's life would have been like if he wasn't a prince and king of the Noldor. It must have been a lot like the life he experiences now as a smith. These experiences are bound to make him only more wise, having seen life from this angle.

This made me cry again, even re-reading it. I can't imagine this level of guilt.

Author Reply: He has had too much to process and come to terms with in so little time. And being an ellon with a conscience has not helped him in this.

Thanks for reading and reviewing!
