I bet it was with great effort, but in the end it worked for the best anyway. Heh! Having to deal with this Dwarf is still better than if Legolas had come home with a pet giant spider or an orc for a friend, I suspect! Author Reply: LOL! Actually, Legolas HAS brought home a pet spider in another series. ;P Still, Thranduil will be better for accepting the dwarf. Who knows? They might even become friends... ;) Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Aahhh, the bane of ever parent, the day your adult child comes home with some one you may not totally approve of. LOL. not sure if it is the person you don't like or the realization that you really don't have the power to pick and choose their friends. lol, because of course you could do a better job of it. ***sighs*** My deepest empathy for Tranduil Author Reply: LOL! Thanks for reading!

Interesting take on Mairon's choice to join Melkor. Music can express so much; and it can also seduce. Melkor's sophistication could have been a powerful draw against the lure of the other Valar's purity. I like this piece very much. Author Reply: Thank you!
