| It is interesting to see Thranduil decide to sail west now, as most imagine him lingering in Middle Earth to see Eryn Lasgalen settle now that Sauron's last folk are gone from its borders. But it is reasonable that this would happen as you indicate. I am glad he spent that last year with his father. | Oooh, you're back and with a new one! I always love your stories even though I lurk most of the time. This new one looks great! Poor Legolas, it can't have been easy watching people sail while he remained in Middle Earth for Aragorn and Arwen. However it just proves what my mother always told me, you can never go back, not even to the places you had the happiest times, they are never the same. Onwards and upwards always! Author Reply: Actually, this is an old one! ;) I posted it very early in my fanfic days, but it was my weakest story, with a horribly confusing timeline.
