How the news of Finduilas' passing must have grieved Imrahil!

Author Reply: Indeed! It must have been tragic.

Thank you for your review! :)

Love that last bit about Faramir's heart - so true - a gentleman and a gentle man, a hobbit in a man's skin IMHO. Love him. :)

Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Author Reply: Thank you! Happy to see Faramir fans enjoying this little scribbling. :)

Alas for Frodo but this is indeed what they fought for and nearly died for. Glad that he had some momentary peace and happiness in seeing such wonderful proof that his and Sam's sacrifices bore beautiful fruit.

Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Author Reply: Thank you! I agree. It must be quite peaceful for them and rewarding as well to see the fruits of their labour. :)

Love this! Faramir's quality, the gentle heart and the steel that guards it, come through. Please, please, somebody draw a picture of young Faramir with his wolf.

Author Reply: Oh I would love that! If anyone does, I would be happy to see the drawing. Thank you for your review!

Lovely! I always am interested in the anniversary illnesses for Frodo and i never tire of reading about it again. I loved your last line as well for even with despair, there is hope.

Author Reply: I always found the anniversary of Frodo's illness interesting myself. Thank you for your review!

Oh, but I love this demonstration of Faramir's special gift. Excellent characterizations.

Author Reply: Thank you. The characterizations were precisely what I hoped to achieve.

I really like how you show Faramir's gentle nature and the fact that he won't easily harm beast. Very nice ficlet. Looking forward to more.

Author Reply: Thank you. I am glad you enjoyed it. I always assumed Faramir had a gentle had with both men and beasts, mixed with his personality of reason and compassion.

He managed to convey his thoughts to those around him just by varying degrees of silence.

That's a wonderful line. I enjoyed this story very much, and look forward to future tales.

Author Reply: Thank you. More will be coming shortly. :)
