| Not only is this *cute* and *clever* (see what I did there? :-P), but it's really impressive, managing to put together these little short stories around a particular letter. My brain doesn't really work that way...but I am enjoying the result! Thanks for writing! Author Reply: You and Harrowcat are both making my day! It takes a good deal of perseverence to bring in a profusion of letter-words for each day, but it's well worth it. | |

Yes, according to Unfinished Tales Galadriel did her bit to help both Cirion's one surviving messenger and Eorl's Riders to each make their journeys successfully, and it was fun to work that into this story! | I never realised so many of Aragorn's ancestors had a name beginning with B! Author Reply: When I looked at the lineage of the House of Beor on the Encyclopedia of Arda, I found I had to take a page out of the Bible, as it were. If the Noldor Elves were riddled with Fs, the House of Beor is definitely filled with Bs. Heh! | |

| The "begats" can be quite confusing! This is a great history. Author Reply: Oh, I know. I remember reading a book in which a little girl loved the "begats" in the Bible, while I found they caused my eyes to glaze the first time I read that section through from beginning to end. And thanks so! | |
