| I love this type of story. The children especially Kaylee sound very authentic. It must throw Elrond and Gandalf for a loop that here are these children that know something, but nothing really helpful. Can't wait to see where you take the story. Author Reply: Thanks! | Lovely story and I really enjoyed this chapter. interesting perspective coming from children and love that they brought their dog. I too wonder if they fell down the rabbit hole for a specific purpose. can't wait to see what happens next. Author Reply: Keep reading, and you'll find out! =) I wanted a different take on the "modern-day-person-falls-into-Middle-earth" scenario. The story of the young woman who winds up entering that world has been done pretty much to death, to my thinking. But since I love children anyway, I've done a lot of thinking about what would happen if a group of children and their dog (or, in this case, puppy) found themselves there, and the result is this story! | |
