Ah, wasn't this lovely! *sigh* I loved how gentle and tender Thranduil was when he held his son. As if Legolas were a piece of fragile glass. And the way you described his awakening was just superb! The transition from his Elfling memories to reality was heartbreaking and touching at the same time. Gimli and Thranduil actually had something in common, anger at the ones who did this to Legolas. It was nice to see them brought together by their love for Legolas. And speaking of love, I really loved how you had both Thranduil and Gimli holding on to and comforting Legolas at the end of this chapter. :) Serai is such a sweet girl. Elladan and Elrohir sure made a lasting impression on her. She is enamoured by all Elves. :) I'm glad they will be taking care of her and seeing to her needs. That poor child deserves some rest and a life without hurt! Can't wait till the next chappy! :)

Ah, me think that mere slip of a girl is going to find herself in the lap of luxury soon, and for the rest of her days to boot, no? ;) She deserves it for saving our beautiful Elf! :) I'm sooooo glad he was finally found! Poor Leggy, he must be horribly thin and pale. :( Please hurry and post the next chapter so he can get all better! :)

How nice to see a happy chapter! Legolas is safe, and will recover. Thranduil has his son back, and is being civil to Gimli. The girl has found 'her' elves again. I like the characterisations and relationships you show between the central characters. They are mature and sensible. I hate stories that show the adult twins as clowns and buffoons, totally irresponsible. Well done. Jay

I absolutely love the way you portray Thranduil. And this is the first story I've seen with Thranduil interacting with Estel and Arwen. I love it. This was a fantastic chapter all the way through. Dying for the next...

This is really good. You've built a great mystery! I can't wait to see what happens next and who's responsible! I'm also looking foward to seeing if Serai continues to be involved in the story. Good work! I hope you ipdate soon.

Thank heavens Legolas has been found! It seems particularly evil to leave someone to starve to death. I like your OCs, especially the girl and the guard captain - and we have the twins to thank for the girl's actions! I like the way they charmed her so much she never forgot them. This conspiracy seems widespread - four guards, changing frequently, means lots of traitors! I fear we'll hear more of them. Jay

Hi Sheraiah I have told you before that I really like the way you portray the King. :) Hooray! You let Arwen get into the mix. I'm still of the opinion that she would not have been sitting at home with her knitting when Aragorn was late getting to Rivendell in FotR Now, ya gotta let them find Legolas Vi
