But things may change when Faramir returns. He is bold, more bold than many deem; for in these days men are slow to believe that a captain can be wise and learned in the scrolls of lore and song, as he is, and yet a man of hardihood and swift judgement in the field. But such is Faramir. Less reckless and eager than Boromir, but not less resolute.

Are You Going To Leave Me? by Llinos
The first chapter of this was originally posted on Marigold's Challenge 38 – which was to write a gap-filler. I decided that there are far more gaps in the film than the book, so I chose filmverse. This is the scene where Pip finds Merry on the battlefield and explains how on Middle-earth he got him back to the City and eventually onto the back of Éomer's horse. A gap that really needed filling!

Set in the AU of my Frodo and his Cats stories on Tol Eressea long after both Frodo and Sam have settled there. In the timelessness of that Distant Shore not much changes and few mind. But no one told Tom and Goldberry, Frodo’s very superior and prolific cats , about this. Or ~*~ If they knew it, in their feline indifference, they simply chose to ignore it.
