'It is ill dealing with such a foe: he is a wizard both cunning and dwimmer-crafty, having many guises. He walks here and there, they say, as an old man hooded and cloaked, very like to Gandalf, as many now recall. His spies slip through every net, and his birds of ill omen are abroad in the sky.

Senses by Misty
Aragorn suffers through an injury that robs him of sight and hearing, leaving him to fumble alone in the dark, to experience the world through only touch. This was written based on the Middle-earth challenge prompt #31: Touch, and should be considered a prompt inspired fic. It can be considered AU, as I don't think Tolkien intended for Aragorn to be deaf and blind at any point in his life.

Deific Flame by Bejai
From the second age of Middle Earth to the third, few of the elders of the elves remain to guide the young. Still, relics of an ancient world exist, for good and ill. Divine banes return in a blaze of revolution, betrayal, war, balrog, death, and, perhaps, the indifference of the Valar. Yet there may be tempering strength in a refiner's fire. Featuring Galadriel, Celeborn, and Amroth -- their son. Chapter 12: Victory, of a sort, as seen from afar.
